I chose to stay at Palazzo Dei Mercanti - Dimora & Spa because of its proximity to the Cripta di Sant'Emidio. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's disabled facilities with wheelchair access and disabled car parking spaces. This feature shows their commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. Moreover, I loved that the bistro served pasta, sandwiches, salads, and other light dishes made with gourmet and local ingredients throughout the day. It was a delightful culinary experience.
The downside was the bathroom at Palazzo Dei Mercanti - Dimora & Spa. The toilet was practically against the shower, and the shower doors leaked.

Upon our arrival, Simona warmly greeted us and took care of all our needs. She even parked our car in the private garage and provided us with valuable information about the hotel and exploring the area. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious, which is a rarity in Italy. the bathroom was beautifully equipped and the shower was one of the best we've experienced in our travels. the room had large windows overlooking the street, and despite being in a bustling area, it was surprisingly quiet. the autonomous air-conditioning worked perfectly. the hotel's location was excellent, steps away from the magnificent Piazza Popolo, making it easy to explore this tranquil and charming city.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊.

Beautiful, recently renovated historic palace, with quality facilities.
Incorrect information on website. Parking not available, spa facility not free to use (didn't find out till check-out), says adult-only... Over-run with children at breakfast. For the quality of the rest of the place, the breakfast was poor quality (packaged, canned goods) Nothing fresh.
